JONNY KIGHT, Casanova
Jonny is an up and coming model turned actor with a growing body of work behind him. Having modelled for Diesel, Versace, Benetton, Boss and many more, he grew disillusioned with the superficial world of modelling and decided to try his hand at something more substantial - acting.
Jonny is perhaps best known for his starring role in The Sugababes' Round Round video which went to No1 in the charts. See if you can spot him!
Since then, Jonny has started building his acting experience in short films and feature films, with roles in short films such as Adagio, Happy Together and Home Again.
The role of Casanova is a non speaking part, but central to the plot. Jonny said: "William explained that it was a non-speaking role which a lot of actors would be turned away by, but I knew it was going to be such a cool thing to work on and saw it as a great opportunity. The character of Casanova is a constant background presence... the audience is left wondering what his real motivation is. William also did a lot of work in the audition and rehearsal process, developing the character to give him a history and flesh him out."
Working on Stiletto also had its fair share of surprises for Jonny: "It was fun to see Montse as she and I go way back (I'm very good friends with her boyfriend) and I didn't know that she was in the film until the first day of shooting, so that was a nice surprise!"
"I don't think she realised I had made the move from modeling to acting as I haven't seen her for a few years. We had fun catching up in between takes!"
